Uda Uryu (-1950) is a painter born in Numazu, Japan. His real name is Uda Ryuzo. Uryu is his haiku name. His painting name is Seryu Gyomu. His father was Kawanabe Kyosai. He was the son of a woman who took care of him during his stay in Numazu. It is said that he had the same talent for painting and calligraphy as his father.
