Imei Shūkei(1731-1808) was a Rinzai Zen priest of the late Edo period. He went by the names Daikyu and Hazan. A native of Wakasa. He studied under Monogai at Taiseiji Temple in Wakashu, and then under Dainen Kenjo (1719-1801) at Jiunin Temple in Sannai, Shokokuji, where he succeeded to the position of 16th head of Sannai Kogenin Temple. He was the eleventh generation of Shokokuji Temple.
Koremyo also studied painting under Ito Wakaki (1716-1800), who was closely associated with Shokokuji Temple, and excelled especially in painting plum blossoms.
