Tsukioka Sessai (birth date unknown-1839) was an ukiyoe artist active in the late Edo period. Eldest son of Sessho Tsukioka. He was born in Osaka. Nickname is Tamesaburo, family name is Kida, first name is Shuei. He was also known as Tamesaburo, Sessai, or Gieisai.
He studied painting under his father Sesukin and Yoshimura Shuzan of the Kano school, and worked with Sesukin in Osaka. He was appointed to the position of Hohashi at the same time as his father Sesedo was appointed to Hogan, and like his father, he also advanced to Hogan. He had two sons, Sessho and Setsudo, a younger brother, Tsukioka Sekkei, as a student, and an adopted son, Tsukioka Yoshitoshi.
