Mori Kinseki (1843-1921) was born in Hyōgo prefecture.

He was a painter in Meiji and Taisho period, renowned especially in Ōsaka.
He started to learn about painting when he was 14 years old.
After the Meiji Restoration, he followed Takahashi Yūichi.
