Nagasawa Roshū

Nagasawa Roshū (1767–1847) was a painter of the Maruyama school during the Edo period. He was a disciple and adopted son of Nagasawa Roshū (1754–1799), who himself was a leading pupil of Maruyama Ōkyo.

His personal name was Uroko (鱗), his azana (courtesy name) was Dongō (呑江), and he also used the art names () Roshū and Nankyō (南暁).

He is said to have been born in Kokuryō, Tanba Province (present-day Tanba, Hyōgo Prefecture), or in Kiba, Himeji City. Although his family name is sometimes given as Ueda, this remains uncertain.
